4D Lifetec establishes US presence with new branch office on MIT campus

The Swiss diagnostics startup 4D Lifetec established a subsidiary in the US with offices near the MIT Innovation Center in Cambridge, Massachusetts. This marks the former Venture Leader's official entry into the US market in one of the world's central life science hubs.

4D Lifetec is a pioneering company in the field of non-invasive, immuno-oncology blood testing for early cancer detection. The company has developed a proprietary transformative DDS biomarker that has the potential to become a key element in the diagnostic cascade for all main types of cancers.

The US diagnostics market, especially in the field of oncology, is growing rapidly and thus represents great potential for the company, motivating the establishment of an American subsidiary.

The company's co-founder and Chairman, Arne Faisst, participated in the Venture Leaders Life Sciences roadshow in 2019, which connects innovators with investors and industry experts in Boston.

The new branch's HQ is located in the modern Innovation Campus CIC on the 5th floor of 1 Broadway in Boston, Cambridge. The company address is situated next to the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), one of the world's most prestigious research institutions, which offers obvious advantages.

"The new Boston office plays a central role for us in initiating and supporting our clinical trials in the US," said Dr. Giancarlo Rizzoli, who replaced Faisst as CEO earlier this year. "We have therefore already started to augment our team with additional professionals on-site in Boston." The company has also entered into negotiations with various CLIA Labs as cooperation partners.

The application phase for Venture Leaders Biotech 2023 is open until March 19, 2023.
