The Venture Leaders— the members of the Swiss National Startup Team— have a clear-cut goal. They envision themselves as global players and want to take the first step to their global expansion. The Venture Leaders’ startup development program is specifically structured to help them achieve these goals.
Over the past 17 years, Venturelab has selected the Swiss National Startup Teams. The Venture Leaders have traveled to Silicon Valley, Barcelona, Boston, New York, Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen and Hong Kong to dive into the exciting entrepreneurial scene of such high-level entrepreneurial hubs, helping more than 455 entrepreneurs to build their vision and achieve success. This intense journey offers 10 selected entrepreneurs an accelerated learning curve and a solid network through their exchanges with their peers in the team, as well as market exposure, feedback from investors and experts, and hands-on business development.
Applications are now open for the second annual Swiss National Startup Team representing the Swiss biotech sector. A jury of professional investors and biotech experts will review applications and choose the 10 Venture Leaders Biotech 2022. Selected startups will be those with groundbreaking ideas for how to improve disease prevention, diagnostics, and treatment through innovative solutions covering areas such as RNA-sequencing, precision medicine, gene editing, and gene therapy. This year’s international roadshow will take place in Boston from September 11th to 17th, 2022.
