Billte, the first network partner for Switzerland's SIX banking infrastructure's eBill, looks to build on its experience in Asia when CEO and co-founder Andrea Girasole roadshows in Hong Kong in November. The Swiss fintech startup that digitalizes and automates companies' billing processes is also interested in raising local investment to grow in the region beyond its Indonesian beachhead.
How is Billte changing finance?
Getting paid promptly reduces companies' working capital requirements and frees cash for growth, but whether you're an SME or a large corporate, it can be complicated and costly to add digital payment options or track payments arriving from several different channels. In collaboration with banks, Billte serves as a company's working capital management hub. With our API we support the entire payment collection, execution, and cash flow management, while also facilitating bank finance by providing direct access to credit lines. Our solution is user-friendly and flexible, there is no new process to be learned or adapted. Billte adapts to different business needs.
How important is it to be in China and Hong Kong?
These markets are vast and constantly expanding. We already have a collaboration planned in Indonesia, so we're keen to see how our solution could help companies in China and Hong Kong too.
What are your goals for the roadshow?
I'm want to discuss collaboration with local banks. I'm also interested in exploring the local financial ecosystem and meeting investors that could help us to expand locally and in other Asian countries. On a personal note, my father lived in Hong Kong, so I'm looking forward to being back in a fantastic, cosmopolitan city. Its vibrancy and atmosphere is really something special!
