First National Flagship Event 2023: Credit Suisse Investors and TOP 100 Startups connect over archery in Lausanne
Today, TOP 100 Presenting Partner Credit Suisse and Venturelab hosted an exclusive event that brought together selected startups from the TOP 100 Swiss Startups community and beyond, and investors.
Venturelab and TOP 100 Presenting Partner Credit Suisse collaborate to organize regional fundraising events several times a year. These TOP 100 satellite events allow selected startups to present their pitches to a selection of investors, this time over a newly shaped and reinforced flagship event enabling stronger connections and matchings.“Sharing a vision and building trust needs not only to understand the business but to also connect at a personal level”, commented Jordi Montserrat. “Such events, with vetted startups and investors, provide a very unique platform to achieve both in a very efficient way, it is “targeting” in the best meaning and implementation.”
Eighteen startups of the TOP 100 were able to connect with investors – ranging from business angels to VCs – and share their innovative visions in a unique setting in Lausanne.
The special event on October 3rd was held with a mix of pitch sessions and archery competition, offering a unique opportunity for participants to “target their startups and investors”. Over 30 investors and eighteen startups – including early-stage and scale-up companies – displayed a wide range of first-class investment opportunities: AELER Technologies, AICA, ArcoScreen, Avelo, Biosimo, Cultivated Biosciences, Impossible Materials, Isochronic, WattAnyWhere, Artiria Medical, Aspivix, Bloom Biorenewables, PowerAPI, PEROVSKIA SOLAR, Scantrust, Swiss Airtainer, Terapet, and SONIX (TYXIT).
"The National Start-up Segment created two years ago with 45 members wishes to contribute to the growth of investments to support start-ups by connecting thoroughly both stakeholder groups thanks also to Venturelab," mentions Martial Décoppet, Sponsor of the Start-up Segment and Head of SME French-speaking Switzerland.
