Five event management solutions that helped us organize the first hybrid TOP 100 Swiss Startup Award

Organizing a big event is always challenging; organizing a big event during a pandemic adds an extra layer of uncertainty and even risk to every task. However, we collaborated with partners that provided us with expertise and smart solutions to make the 10th-anniversary of the TOP 100 Swiss Startup Award a success!

On September 9, the TOP 100 Swiss Startup Award opened its doors for the 10th consecutive time to celebrate the most promising Swiss startups on the big stage they truly deserve. This year’s edition could rely on outstanding professionals and smart technologies to ensure an enjoyable, smooth, and safe award night.

Bringing the ecosystem together
We invited 100 startups, 100 investors, and the ecosystems’ most important partners and supporters to Zurich MAAG Halle for an evening of discovery, networking, celebration. zkipster’s event management software made our participant management and check-in a breeze.

Keeping it safe
In order to ensure maximum safety and compliance to current regulations for the event industry, we have operated the TOP 100 Swiss Startup Award Night with two strictly separated guest sectors. Note: this requires thoughtful arrangements starting with a venue allowing for separate entrances and lavatories, over adaptions to the F&B service, to the cautious people and staff management for nobody to be in touch with both sectors.

Going online
The award ceremony was live-streamed for the first time ever. The bürobureau team produced the video feed that was accessed by over 550 online followers through Veertly’s video platform for online and hybrid events. The platform also enabled increased interaction with our remote audience and allowed us to customize the event both in terms of branding and app integration.
