Getting ready for London: The Venture Leaders Fintech 2024 kick off their international roadshow
In early December, the ten Venture Leaders Fintech 2024 selected to represent the Swiss National Startup Team will pitch their solutions in London. During their weeklong roadshow, the entrepreneurs will meet with investors, experts, and industry leaders to strengthen their network and advance global growth. To get to know each other and prepare for the trip, the founders met at the startup space and introduced their innovations.
On Thursday, October 31st, the Swiss National Fintech Startup Team 2024 members met and shared their startup journeys at the kick-off event. They pitched their fintech innovations to a virtual audience, which voted for a team captain, electing Leroy Bächtold, co-founder and CEO of CrowdTransfer.
The event opened with personal introductions, followed by an interactive workshop led by Ramona Wyss and Thomas Müller from Walder Wyss, discussing the legal aspects of their fintech endeavours.
After an introduction by Charlotte Chenu from Swissnex London, the event continued with an introductory webinar led by Jordi Montserrat, co-founder and managing partner at Venturelab. He recapped Venturelab's evolution from its beginnings to its current global reach, emphasizing its influence in supporting over 10,000 participants and guiding hundreds of startups. "Our goal is to put Switzerland on the international stage. The selected startups have impressed the jury and are now preparing for the next milestone: the London roadshow this December," said Jordi.

Venture Leaders Fintech 2024 promises an intense roadshow that will offer these ambitious entrepreneurs an accelerated learning curve, market exposure, a solid network through peer exchanges, feedback from investors and experts, and hands-on business development. Organized by Venturelab, this initiative has been supporting Swiss National Startup Teams for 19 years, introducing them to investors and potential customers in leading technology hubs worldwide.
