Good Morning Startups 2022: Credit Suisse investors and TOP 100 startups connect over breakfast

13.06.2022 10:30, Tracy Woodley

Last Tuesday, TOP 100 Presenting Partner Credit Suisse and Venturelab hosted the Good Morning Startups event. This exclusive event brought together selected TOP 100 Swiss startups and members of the Credit Suisse Private Investors Club.

Together with our TOP 100 Presenting Partner Credit Suisse, we organize regional networking and fundraising events in which selected startups that have made it into the TOP 100 Swiss Startups are invited to present themselves in front of handpicked investors. On Tuesday, June 7, 2022, Credit Suisse and TOP 100 hosted a breakfast at the Olympic Museum in Lausanne to connect startups and investors. Five startups that were among the TOP 100 Swiss startups in 2021 pitched to the members of the Credit Suisse Private Investors Club, forged key connections, and explored business opportunities.

The matchmaking event was introduced by Valentin Zulauff, Relationship Manager and Corporate Clients VP at Credit Suisse, and Jordi Montserrat, managing partner at Venturelab. Nicole Wälti, Head of Wealth Planning in Western Switzerland, gave a keynote address regarding the latest developments in the taxation of companies and shares, which was followed by the presentations of Adiposs, Earlysight, Limula, Terapet, and TWIICE, the five TOP100 startups selected for this event.

“The exposure offered by the TOP 100 and Credit Suisse is a major added value to support our fundraising efforts,” noted Andrej Babic, co-founder and CEO of Adiposs.

Marc-Antoine Loude, Head of Executives and Entrepreneurs for Credit Suisse Romande, closed the event by emphasizing the potential global impact represented by the startups.

Previous invitation-only TOP 100 pitch events in collaboration with Credit Suisse have been held in Lausanne, Geneva, Zurich, and St. Gallen. If you are an investor who would like to receive an invitation to an upcoming event, please apply online.
