After the welcome words by Ronald Colliard, Relationship Manager Corporate Clients, Director of Credit Suisse and Raphael Kunz from the Promotion Deparment for Economy and Innovation (SPEI) of Etat de Vaud; Jordi Montserrat, Managing Partner at Venturelab moderated the pitch session of the 6 handpicked startups from the Vaud region. The pitching startups Agrosustain, Nanogence, Olympe, Creal3D, Volumina Medical and Involi benefited from the direct feedback and were able to create new fundraising and business opportunities thanks to the high-level networking.

Creal3D
uses the so called light-field which allows to create true 3D images with correct 'one-eye' depth cues allowing an eye to change focus naturally. We develop near-eye light-field projectors which will replace the flat screens in virtual and mixed reality glasses and will truly enable the emerging market.

Volumina Medical
develops a carrier structure, the technical term is ‘scaffold’ that can be injected in a minimally invasive procedure and helps to restore the natural shape of the soft tissue. The startup has impressed both Venture Kick and Venture Leaders.

Involi
enables the safe integration of drones into the air traffic to avoid collisions with aircraft and allowing new applications such as drone delivery. INVOLI provides unique air traffic data to drones, data gathered through a network of in-house developed detection devices, deployed on the ground as a network covering a designated area.
