H55 has closed a CHF 65 million Series C round, including funding from the Government of Québec. The capital will advance its efforts to secure EASA (European Union Aviation Safety Agency) certification for the world’s first electric propulsion battery pack by late 2024.

H55 focuses on electric propulsion, battery packs, and energy management for aviation. The company recently closed a CHF 65 million Series C funding round, enabling it to meet EASA certification for its battery packs by year-end and prepare for integration into CS-23 aircraft by early 2025. EASA approved H55’s Energy Storage System Compliance Check List in March 2024, affirming its safety and performance.

The Series C round includes investment from the Government of Quebec through Investissement Québec, supporting H55’s North American expansion, including manufacturing in Montreal and partnerships with Pratt & Whitney Canada, CAE, and Harbour Air. With this funding, H55 is set to advance electric aviation and thanks its investors and partners for their support.
