Swiss startup Lakera, creator of the AI security platform Gandalf, has been acquired by Checkpoint for an estimated USD 300 million. In just over a year, Lakera has become a reference in protecting enterprises from emerging risks in generative AI, making this transaction one of the largest to date in the field.

Its platform Gandalf generated more than 80 million data points and offered real-time protection across large language models through a single API.
