Logitech buys ETH spin-off Upicto

Logitech bought Upicto, a venturelab and venture kick Alumnus. Upicto developed a software which can autonomously analyze the content of videos – a promising technology.
Very recently, the computer equipment manufacturer bought the spin-off of the Computer Vision Lab at ETH. Award winning Upicto developped an algorithm that analyzes the content of videos, choses relevant moments and makes them available. The software recognizes important moments autonomously.Fabian Nater, co-founder of Upicto, will now work for Logitech together with his team.
A great success for our venturelab and venture kick Alumnus
In 2013, Upicto was part of the venture leaders USA adventure in Boston and won the Swisscom Startup Challenge in Silicon Valley. The startup is also a venture kick Alumnus. Congratulations to Fabian Nater and his team!
