SONIX acquires RUSH Entertainment's tournament tech to launch all-in-one esports platform

SONIX has secured the intellectual property of RUSH Entertainment's tournament platform, aiming to launch the first all-in-one competitive gaming and community solution. The move combines SONIX's real-time voice capabilities with RUSH's scalable Esports infrastructure.

Sonix, known for its ultra-low-latency voice technology tailored to gamers and content creators, has signed a definitive asset purchase agreement with RUSH Entertainment AG. The acquisition transfers all IP rights from RUSH — developers of one of the most advanced white-label tournament platforms — to Sonix, laying the groundwork for a unified gaming experience that merges communication and competition.

RUSH's tournament engine has already powered over 2,500 events and attracted more than 300,000 competitive gamers. By integrating this system, Sonix aims to provide a single platform where creators, teams, and brands can organize and manage tournaments of all sizes, from small-scale community matches to LAN events with up to 2,000 participants. Real-time voice functionality will be integrated throughout the platform, supporting seamless in-game and event coordination.

The rollout of the unified platform is expected in the coming months. Early access will be offered to selected Esports teams, creators, and brand partners as Sonix moves toward redefining how competitive gaming communities connect and operate.

The ICT company has won Venture Kick, participated in Venture Leaders Technology and Mobile, and been ranked among the TOP 100 Swiss Startups.
