Sonect Raises CHF 8.45 Million to Boost Fintech Startup's Virtual ATM Service in Europe and Latin America

All existing investors participated in the Series A round, which will also fund further tech developments, hiring and broaden the Zurich-based startup's product portfolio.
Sonect received 10,000 Swiss francs pre-seed funding from Venture Kick in 2016 and CEO Sandipan Chakraborty won a seat on the Venture Leaders Fintech roadshow to New York in 2017. The startup then ranked at the TOP 100 Swiss Startup Award in the two following years.
“Venture Leaders is a program that helps founders expand their vision beyond Swiss borders and amplifies their aspirations to become a global leader," Chakraborty said last year.
