An expert jury chose ten promising Swiss technology startups ready to grow internationally. They will expand their investor networks and expertise during the Venture Leaders Technology investor and business development roadshow in Silicon Valley with the Swiss National Startup Team in April. The Venture Leaders Technology 2024 program is organized by Venturelab and supported by DPD, EPFL, ETH Zurich, Helbling Technik, Kellerhals Carrard, Rothschild & Co, Unicorn Anchor, and the Canton of Vaud.
Since 2006, Venturelab has selected the Swiss National Startup Team. The Venture Leader roadshows provide a platform for determined entrepreneurs and their promising startups, offering them the opportunity to connect with top experts, investors, and potential customers in key technology hubs across the globe, such as Silicon Valley, Boston, China, Barcelona, Munich, and London.
After reviewing over 200 applications, a jury of investors and technology experts selected ten tech startups to join the Venture Leaders Technology roadshow 2024 in Silicon Valley, one of the world's most important tech hubs. The roadshow provides a unique opportunity for entrepreneurs to accelerate their startups' expansion in the US while expanding their professional network and profiting from pitch sessions with investors and workshops with industry leaders.
The Venture Leaders program also showcases the drive and vitality of Switzerland's tech startup ecosystem. The ten selected startups represent Swiss top excellence across a diverse spectrum. From AI software, cloud, and security to inspection tools and robotic solutions, they exemplify Switzerland's prowess in technology innovation. "The upcoming roadshow in April brings the best Swiss high-tech startups to the global stage and creates connections and expertise for their international expansion," emphasized Stefan Steiner, Co-Managing Director at Venturelab. "By interacting with investors and industry leaders in Silicon Valley, the startups gain unparalleled access to the US market and key business insights to help them grow globally." Alumni from previous years confirm this statement:
"The Venture Leaders program offered us valuable insights into the mechanics and dynamics of Silicon Valley. Together with VC partners from the Silicon Valley ecosystem, we improved our pitches and applied these learnings to pitch to various investors at multiple events. Being in a group of leading Swiss start-ups was inspiring and fun," highlighted Matthias Heller, CEO of
Lightly and Venture Leader Technology 2023.
"Venture Leaders Technology is a great opportunity to confront the Silicon Valley mindset. You get to meet the different flavors of venture capitalists and receive feedback," added George Chatzipirpiridis, COO of
Magnes and Venture Leader Technology 2023.
