Technis acquires French company Videtics, laying the foundation for a sovereign European group

Technis is deploying its acquisition strategy to become the European market leader with the acquisition of Videtics, a specialist in AI for video surveillance and flow optimization. With this first acquisition in France, Technis instantly gains proven expertise in AI applied to imaging and video, laying the foundation for a sovereign European group dedicated to optimizing and securing physical spaces through AI.

The acquisition of Videtics is based on a shared vision: leveraging the power of data to optimize the use of physical spaces, enhance security, and reduce environmental impact. Through this alliance, Videtics' solutions in intelligent video analysis and AI seamlessly integrate into the Technis ecosystem, which already encompasses people flow data collection, environmental monitoring, and energy tracking. As a result of this acquisition, Technis’ tech and AI team will grow by 50%, with an equal increase in AI-related patents.
