The 2018 Swisscom StartUp Challenge finalists

05.07.2018 15:15, Robynn Weldon

Swisscom, in partnership with Venturelab, has been looking for high-tech start-ups – in particular in the fields of artificial intelligence, ICT/cloud services, digital marketing/commerce for SME, cybersecurity, blockchain-enabled ppplications or IoT/robotics – who want to conquer the world with their products or services.

The 10 Swisscom StartUp Challenge finalists have been announced – and now comes the hard part.

Will they sign deals? Probably! But the benefits go beyond direct profit. Winners from the previous five challenges have reported profound insights and radical reinvention of the way they work. From the pre-pitch coaching to mentoring and sales training, the challenge is designed to get the absolute best out of these rising startups – even those who never make it to the US. These are the deserving few.

Stefan Kuentz of Swisscom Ventures said: "We are excited for the top 10 startups which have been selected out of over 250 highly promising applications. It will be the challenging task for the jury to finding the top five companies who will be also the ambassadors of Swiss innovation and entrepreneurship during the Silicon Valley week.“

Does one of these finalists stand out? Vote for your favourite between July 30th and August 10th – you could win one of two Samsung Tablets, and there's an extra reward for the public favorite startup, too.
