The Venture Leaders Medtech 2023 kick-off meeting sets the course for the Boston roadshow

14.08.2023 15:00, Rita Longobardi

In September, the Venture Leaders Medtech 2023, composed of ten high-potential startups, will fly to Boston for a business-boosting week which will enable them to accelerate their development on the US market and meet top investors and experts. Before embarking on this innovative journey, the founders convened in Lausanne, where they presented their pioneering ideas and ventures during a pitch session.

At the on-site gathering held on August 10th at EPFL Innovation Park, the ten Venture Leaders Medtech 2023 learned more about each other's innovations. This occasion provided them with a platform to discuss the path of their startup journeys thus far, while also presenting the ideal setting to showcase their precise Medtech solutions through pitching sessions. Audience members then voted for the team captain and selected Siew-Veena Sahi, CEO of Testmate. "Thrilled to have been elected as the captain of this year's Venture Leaders Medtech roadshow in Boston. Anticipation fills the air as we begin this exciting journey," said Siew-Veena.

As members of the Swiss National Startup Team, the Venture Leaders share a defined objective: to establish themselves as leading global entities and to boost their worldwide growth endeavours.

"During the week-long roadshow, the 10 venture leaders will pitch to key US investors and meet with leaders and experts of the Medtech industry. With its focus on quality and precision, the Swiss Medtech industry provides highly specialized expertise for the global market," said Jordi Montserrat, managing partner at Venturelab.
