The Venture Leaders - the members of the Swiss National Startup Team - have a clear-cut goal. They envision themselves as global players and want to take the first step to their global expansion. The Mobile World Congress in Barcelona is the world's largest and most important event in the mobile and connectivity industry and therefore the ideal place to connect with industry leaders and investors.

The 5 selected Venture Leaders Mobile startups travelled from February 24th to 28th to Barcelona. For the first time in the Swiss National Startup Team’s history the majority participants were women and they convinced at MWC.

Eugenia Balysheva, CEO of Dotphoton shares her feelings about Venture Leaders Mobile. "Dotphoton has been already working with mobile phone manufacturers and we actively explore application for our technology in telemedicine, therefore MWC was a great opportunity to meet existing and potential partners in mobile and learn what will be industry trends in the nearest future.”

The Swiss Investor Night at the Real Club Náutico de Barcelona offered the Venture Leaders Mobile the opportunity to pitch in front of selected international investors. Ambassador of Switzerland in Spain, H.E., Giulio Haas and Rolf Auf der Maur from VISCHER invited to this unique pitch event and the followed Swiss Night with 200 participants.
