Program

Venture Briefings are a series of events for students who want to discover the path of entrepreneurship and take their first steps in creating a successful startup. This event includes a networking aperitif.

Two experienced entrepreneurs will be sharing their experience and answering your questions:

 

Olga Dubey
is Co-Founder and CEO of Agrosustain, whose mission is to support sustainable food production by developing natural fungicides and organic solutions. 
After completing her studies at Kazan University and then her PhD at UNIL, Olga won Stage 3 of the Venture Kick competition in 2018. Listed in Forbes "30 under 30" in 2019, Olga is a visionary entrepreneur, combining her passion with business and research to reduce waste and support organic food production. Olga is also a Startup Coach at Venturelab.
 




Siew-Veena Sahi
is Co-Founder and CEO of Testmate Health, which allows individuals to get tested at home in a few minutesfor the 4 common sexually transmitted diseases. Siew-Veena studied Global Public Health and Medicine/Surgery at Queen Mary University of London, before becoming a Medical Doctor in 2017. Siew-Veena founded Testmate Health in 2019 as a Spin-Off from the University of Geneva. Testmate Helath was listed as one of the "15 under-the-radar fertility startups to watch" in 2022.
 




Olga and Siew-Veena will share their experience and will also take time to answer your questions during a Q&A session:

  • How can I become an entrepreneur?
  • How can I validate my idea?
  • How can I finance my startup?
  • How can I find help to bring my idea to life?

We will also introduce you to different support programs:
  • Venture Kick (up to 150k pre-seed capital for business development) 
  • InnoBooster (up to 150k grant to accelerate market entry) 
  • First Ventures (financial support and tailored coaching program for University of Applied Science students)
