#VLeadersTech: Meet Tomas Sluka of CREAL3D

In March Tomas Sluka of CREAL3D will travel to Silicon Valley with Venture Leaders Technology to meet key entrepreneurs and investors. Here we find out a little about his motivation for applying to the program.
Why do you choose Silicon Valley as your business development destination?Indeed we returned from our first road-trip to Silicon Valley in January and we have confirmed to ourselves that this is the right place to validate the potential of our technology and search for partners and customers to produce and sell our product. The road to success in our field passes through there. We have already knocked on doors and been invited to our potential partners and customers and we got the opportunity to show our demo and plans to important decision makers on our market. The feedback we got massively boosted our confidence.
What do you want to achieve from the trip?
We expect to improve our adaptation to the Silicon Valley environment. We still need to learn the local “language”. The speed, the numbers, the competition, all is in different scales. Of course we plan to continue visits to our partners and customers in negotiations. Personal meetings are always better. Signing a non-recurring engineering contract and better specification of an investment offer from our last trip are two desired concrete outcomes.
Why is Venture Leaders TECH beneficial for your company?
Beside the fact that Venture Leaders TECH is an important label, Silicon Valley is the place where the market for our technology is materializing. We need to be part of it there.
What is pushing you towards international expansion?
Our business model is inherently global. There is nothing like a local market for us.
What do you foresee as the largest hurdles towards expansion into Silicon Valley?
Only death can stop us.
What makes you most nervous or excited about the trip?
I am looking forward to spending a week with other enthusiastic hightech entrepreneurs. That will be super motivating.
