Lausanne-based startup Lightbend announced today the closing of a $ 25 million financing round led by Dell Technologies Capital.
Lightbend, the EPFL spin-off founded in 2010 has closed a $ 25 million financing round lead by Dell Technology Capital and participated by top-tier VCs such as Bain Capital Ventures, Blue Cloud Ventures, Greylock Partners, IBM, Intel, Juniper Networks, and Shasta Ventures. To date, the company has raised more than $85 million in funding and Tyler Jewell, a Managing Director at Dell Technologies Capital, will join the Lightbend board of directors. The new capital injection will support Lightbend to further scale the business and grow faster.
