Basel-based startup Zoundream has raised EUR 4 million in seed funding to expand the reach and capabilities of its AI-driven neonatal health solution. The investment will fuel product and commercial development, team growth, and partnerships with families and healthcare professionals worldwide.
Founded in Basel with additional offices in Barcelona, Zoundream develops AI-based tools for infant voice analysis. Its technology interprets newborn cries and vocalizations, providing real-time information about an infant’s needs and identifying early signs of health conditions such as gastrointestinal issues or atypical neurodevelopment. By relying solely on voice, the solution offers a non-invasive way to assess early health—an essential period when timely intervention can have a lasting impact.
