amnis, the Zurich-based fintech redefining international banking for businesses, has successfully raised CHF 10 million in a Series-B funding round, led by Swisscom Ventures. With a mission to streamline cross-border finance for SMEs, amnis plans to use the new capital to expand its services and accelerate its growth in key markets.

Zurich-based fintech amnis has raised CHF 10 million in a Series-B funding round, led by Swisscom Ventures. The platform simplifies cross-border transactions, reduces costs, and automates accounting for SMEs, giving them a competitive edge. Over the past year, amnis' payment volume has more than doubled, driven by demand for its debit card and expense-tracking features.

The new funding will support expansion into new markets and the integration of third-party accounting and ERP systems, creating a more seamless fintech ecosystem. In addition to Swisscom Ventures, Lansdowne Investment Company Ltd. and Lendity contributed to the round, with Lendity providing a CHF 2 million non-dilutive debt agreement.

amnis also announced changes to its Board of Directors, with Peter Gerlach appointed as President and Semih Kaçan joining as a new Board member. Co-founders Robert Bloch and Philippe Christen will remain as COO and CFO.

Serving over 3,000 businesses across 35 countries, amnis plans further European expansion and enhancements to its services, including e-commerce solutions and more embedded financial tools.

The fintech startup participated in Venture Leaders Fintech in 2022. "The Venture Leaders Fintech program in 2022 played a meaningful role in our journey. It's programs like these that provide us with invaluable opportunities to connect, grow, and innovate – helping us accelerate our mission. Fast forward to today: We've launched new products, expanded into new markets, and continue to innovate in embedded finance and ERP integrations," highlighted Michael Wüst, Co-Founder and CEO of amnis.
