The Venture Briefing event series is designed to help students with an intent to pursue entrepreneurship take their first steps towards building a successful company. This event is held in German+English.
The event features a keynote speech from Mohsen Falahi, founding CEO of Biel-based EPFL spin-off DAAV.
About: DAAV is the developer of the world's most autonomous robotic wheelchair, dedicated to providing an inclusive travel experience for individuals with reduced mobility, particularly in airport settings. With its AI-enabled mobility device, DAAV-air, the company aims to enhance the quality of PRM (Persons with Reduced Mobility) services while reducing operational costs for service providers. The company raised close to CHF 1 million earlier this year. Mohsen himself is an alumnus of EPFL and University of Geneva in computational neuroscience and biorobotics.
He will also help answer some of your questions during the Q&A session:
How to become an entrepreneur?
How to validate my idea?
How to fund my idea?
How to find help to bring my idea to life?
You will also be introduced to different support programs available to new entrepreneurs:
Venture Kick (up to CHF 150,000 pre-seed capital for business development)
InnoBooster (up to CHF 150,000 grant to accelerate market entry)
First Ventures (up to CHF 150,000 financial support and tailored coaching program for University of Applied Science students)
