Swiss SaaS startup deskbird has raised USD 23 million in a Series B funding round, aiming to advance its AI-powered workplace intelligence and expand its global market presence.

Founded in 2020 by Ivan Cossu and Jonas Hess, deskbird provides a comprehensive workplace management platform designed to help companies optimize office space. The SaaS solution enables users to book and manage desks, conference rooms, and parking spaces while generating real-time insights on space utilization, attendance, and resource efficiency.

The recent Series B round was led by Octopus Ventures, with co-investments from Neva SGR (Intesa Sanpaolo Bank), AVP, Alstin Capital, Session, and PortfoLion, bringing total funding to USD 23 million.

deskbird’s platform already manages more than 10,000 offices across Europe and serves international corporations including Samsung, Deloitte, Philips, AON, Schaeffler, and Airbus. The new funding will support expansion into new sectors such as real estate and entry into key markets like the United Kingdom, reinforcing deskbird’s position as a European leader in workplace management, according to Saranyah Douse, Principal at Octopus Ventures.

In addition to geographic and sector growth, deskbird plans to enhance its intelligent workplace ecosystem. The company is developing AI-powered workplace intelligence that can predict office space needs and optimize resource allocation. By integrating additional IT systems into its platform, deskbird aims to offer businesses a unified, data-driven solution for managing workspaces efficiently.

The ICT startup was ranked among the Top100 Swiss Startups.
