Calingo offers digital pet insurance embedded at the point of need, e.g. directly at the breeder, via vets or pet shops. We also have white-label partnerships with Swiss insurers and our online direct channel. Our product stands out through a fully digital journey, human-health-inspired coverage, monthly cancellation and additional services around pet health like telemedicine. With B2B2C and online channels we’ve grown our portfolio to a size of over CHF 7M. Pet insurance penetration in Switzerland is below 7%, while other country markets reach up to 90%. With 2.5M pets in Swiss households the growth potential is huge.
As an MGA, we handle product development, sales, service and claims, while our risk carrier partners manage risk and regulation.
