Take a startup deep dive and join us for lunch! The Venture Briefing event series is designed to help students and scientists with an intent to pursue entrepreneurship take their first steps towards building a successful company.
About: Lighthouse Tech is an award-winning Swiss startup on a mission to blind and visually impaired people travel safely on foot. The company is making a state-of-the-art eyewear frame that locates obstacles in the upper-body zone, an area left unprotected by the traditional white cane. The company was founded by Nathan Deutsch, Franco Burlando, and Andrea Maroni Stampa; it holds several patents, and has received funding and interest by industry, customers, and investors from around the world.
At our event, Nathan and Franco will talk about their startup and share details about their journey building a successful company. They will also help answer some of your questions during the Q&A session:
How to become an entrepreneur?
How to validate my idea?
How to fund my idea?
How to find help to bring my idea to life?
You will also be introduced to different support programs available to new entrepreneurs:
Venture Kick: up to CHF 150,000 pre-seed capital for business development
InnoBooster: up to CHF 150,000 grant to accelerate market entry
First Ventures: up to CHF 150,000 financial support and tailored coaching program for University of Applied Science students
