Meet Planeto’s online software for the automated planning, design, and visualization of district heating and cooling networks.
Whereas traditional planning is lengthy, complex, resource and time intensive, our software delivers high-accuracy results from feasibility to detailed design in hours instead of months. Our clients can now use powerful, easy to learn features to accurately calculate costs and de-risk projects. They can quickly create scenarios with different low carbon energy sources to meet their project’s needs.
We are an award-winning University of Geneva start-up. Developed by a team of scientist, engineers, and energy utilities, our product is the result of more than 15 years of research and development across different specific topics of urban energy systems.

Milestones news
We won Round 2 of the Venture competition.
We signed a contract with a Swiss engineering office for a licence of TESSA Design.
We completed a Pilot and Demonstration project supported by the OFEN to use TESSA in the design of a thermal network that will be realized in Canton Vaud.
We signed a contract with a Swiss energy utility for a licence of TESSA Design.
We received 35’000 CHF from the Centre Suisse d'Electronique et de Microtechnique to develop new features within TESSA for the design of hydraulic systems.
Our 1st product, TESSA Study was on-line.
We won the three stages of Venture Kick for a total of 150k CHF.
We incorporated Planeto SA in Geneva.
We received the Full Incubation Support from Fongit.
We won the BRIDGE for a total of 195k CHF.
We signed a similar partnership also with Sympheny SA (Urban Energy Planning). We worked together in 2 different projects: in Zurich and Schaffhausen.
We signed a partnership with geoimpact SA. We worked together in 2 different projects: Haute-Sorne (Jura) and Bernex (Geneva).
We obtained the Fongit Innovation Fund (FIF) grant of 50k CHF.
