xFarm Technologies raises EUR 36 million to expand global reach and drive sustainable farming

The TOP 100 and Venture Leaders Technology startup, xFarm Technologies, a European leader in digitalising agri-food, has secured EUR 36 million in a Series C funding round. The investment will support the company's global expansion across Europe, Turkey, Latin America, India, and the US while enhancing its AI-powered tools to promote regenerative agriculture and sustainability in farming.
In 2024, xFarm Technologies experienced significant growth, supporting over 450,000 farms across over 100 supply chains and 7 million hectares worldwide through its Farm Management Information System (FMIS). After acquiring Spain’s Greenfield Technologies, which focused on Regenerative Agriculture, and France’s SpaceSense, specializing in Geospatial AI, xFarm cemented its position as a European leader in agri-food digitalization. The company recently closed a EUR 36 million Series C round led by Partech’s Impact Growth Fund, with participation from Mouro Capital, Swisscom Ventures, United Ventures, and previous investors, following a EUR 17 million Series B in 2022.Already established in Europe, particularly in Switzerland, Italy, Spain, France, Germany, Poland, and the UK, the funds will enable xFarm to expand further across Europe, LATAM, India, Turkey, and the US. The company plans to enhance its offerings, tailoring them to specific markets while advancing its commitment to sustainability through innovative tools like Geospatial AI for Regenerative Agriculture.
The involvement of Mouro Capital will also support the creation of xFarm’s new Fintech and Insurtech division, enabling it to develop risk management and lending solutions to better assist its partners with financial and insurance services.
In 2022, xFarm Technologies was ranked among the TOP 100 Swiss Startups and participated in the Venture Leaders Technology investor and roadshow to Silicon Valley.
