"Algorized develops technology
that prioritizes human needs,
improving safety and quality of life."
Can you tell us who your product or solution helps, and how?
Algorized's ML-powered sensing platform detects people and vital signs in real time. Algorized solutions help robotics and industrial companies to improve safety and maximize warehouse efficiency by 10X and automotive manufacturers to meet critical safety regulations, particularly for the upcoming 2026 EuroNCAP safety requirements, by providing reliable child presence detection solutions for vehicle cabins.
What market are you addressing and what is the potential of your startup in that market?
The people sensing platform addresses two key markets: the indoor positioning and navigation market enabling the creation of new revenue streams for network operators and venue management solutions and the industrial robotics market, projected to reach USD 75B by 2027. With our solution enabling 10X efficiency improvements in warehouse operations, we target a significant portion of this growing market.
How and where did you come up with the idea for your startup?
During our university research on detecting people trapped in buildings during disasters, we developed groundbreaking technology to find people and detect their vital signs through walls. Our innovation caught attention, leading to an invitation to present at CES in Swisstech Eureka Park. The overwhelming industry interest made us realize this could be more than research - it needed to become a company.
What do you expect from the Venture Leaders roadshow, and how do you think it will help you achieve your vision?
We aim to establish the foundations for our global expansion strategy and accelerate our path to becoming a leading provider of people-sensing software solutions across our target industries, secure partnerships that will help us scale our technology deployment reach our target markets more effectively and increase awareness of Algorized's innovative people sensing solutions among key industry stakeholders and decision-makers.
What are your team’s key achievements to date?
We delivered 6 paid pilots for industrial automation, automotive and indoor navigation, secured 1st long-term contract, became a part of one of the renowned accelerators Berkeley Skydeck and raised USD 4.3M seed lead by Amazon Industrial Innovation Fund. Over the past few months, we grew the team to 9 people, opened a presence in the US and grew pipe of potential customers to over 50 companies.
Is there a key principle or value that guides you as you build your company?
At the core of Algorized's mission is our commitment to developing technology that serves humanity: our solutions prioritize human needs and experiences and contribute positively to society by improving safety, efficiency, and quality of life. This human-first approach ensures that as we advance technologically, we remain focused on creating solutions that genuinely benefit people and communities.
What is the most important lesson you have learned as a founder?
As a founder, the most crucial lesson has been understanding and delivering clear customer value while scaling fast. Finding the first right customer, that is ready to scale in the next 12 months, deeply understanding their pain points and developing solutions that provide measurable improvements and be ready to pivot.
What is your favorite productivity hack or tool and why?
We love Notion. We use it every day as our central workspace tool. From brainstorming and whiteboarding to task planning and project management, Notion helps us stay organized and collaborative as a team.
What was your dream job when you were a child?
As a child, I dreamed of becoming a space engineer. This early fascination with technology and innovation has evolved into my current work at Algorized, where we push the boundaries of sensing technology and machine learning to create groundbreaking solutions that enhance human-machine interactions. While I may not be designing spacecraft, I'm still working on innovative technology that transforms how we interact with machines and sensors in our daily lives.
