Venture Leaders Mobile 2025: Lessons from the roadshow with Natalya Lopareva, Co-Founder of Algorized, and Gabriel Iobbi, Co-Founder of PROVUU

In early March, the ten Venture Leaders Mobile 2025 traveled to Barcelona to meet investors and learn from industry experts at the Mobile World Congress (MWC), the world's largest mobile industry exhibition. We spoke with Team Captains Natalya Lopareva and Gabriel Iobbi about what stood out the most during the roadshow and how the experience influenced their outlook.

Gabriel Iobbi, Co-Founder of PROVUU, described the week at 4YFN during the Mobile World Congress as an intense and rewarding experience. Over five days in Barcelona, he pitched to investors, connected with technology partners, and engaged with a strong team of Swiss startups. Here are some key takeaways he shared from the roadshow.

1.    It's a small world
Events like MWC bring people together from many countries and industries. It's a great way to break down borders and explore new global markets and partnerships.

2.    Customers are better than investors
Early customers provide the opportunity to generate revenue and show investors people are willing to pay. Even if you might not have launched a product yet, demonstrating tangible traction such as a letter of intent helps confirm the value of your solution. It's never too early to get customer feedback.

3.    Try to enjoy the ride
A startup journey can be a real rollercoaster with many ups and downs. You can't always predict what's coming around the next bend, so embrace the adventure and who knows where it will take you next (like on a sailing regatta on the Mediterranean)

From investor meetings to industry deep dives at MWC, each day brought lessons that will stay with the Venture Leaders long after the roadshow. Here are a few key takeaways reported by Natalya Lopareva, Co-Founder of Algorized.

1.    Innovation through collaboration
Like sailing across the ocean together, teams combine ideas to move forward in a unified direction. Success springs from shared learning and collective growth.

2.    Resilience matters
Every setback becomes a chance to pivot and adapt. Success lies in maintaining an adaptive mindset that guides through difficult decisions.

3.    Build a multicultural team
Swiss-rooted teams blend seamlessly with U.S. colleagues, creating globally diverse cultures. Combined perspectives and collaborative approaches generate unstoppable momentum.

4.    Tech with purpose
Focus on solutions that create real impact and solve genuine problems. Algorized builds technology that saves lives and tackles society's most complex challenges with AI at scale.
