COVID-19 has changed the way we do business and affects Swiss startups on a daily basis. Nobody knows when this crisis will end nor has a solution on how to deal with this situation.
Venturelab, Innovaud, the Canton of Vaud and 220 entrepreneurs from the region participated on Monday in a first webinar to share their experience and tips on how to cope with this
black swan. We were amazed to see the solidarity in the Swiss startup ecosystem and thank everybody for your involvement. Thumbs up to you!
Main points addressed were about the new measures supporting the companies such as the short time work, allocation for independents or loan guarantees.
Additionally, Venturelab shared a proposal to adapt the Federal Council loan guarantee mechanism to make sure the early stage startups are not left out in this difficult period.
