Getting ready for Silicon Valley: The Venture Leaders Technology 2022 kick off their international roadshow
In early April, the 10 Venture Leaders Technology 2022 will pitch their solutions in Silicon Valley: During their weeklong roadshow, the entrepreneurs will meet with investors, experts, and industry leaders to strengthen their network and advance their global growth. To get to know each other and prepare for the trip, the founders met in Schlieren and showcased their innovations at the Startup Champions event.
During the one-day workshop, the Venture Leaders Technology 2022 met face to face for the first time: The group learned more about each other’s innovations, talked about their expectations, and polished their pitches for Silicon Valley.
Thierry Barbey, a partner at Kellerhals Carrard and deputy head of the Startup Desk Zurich, supported the Venture Leaders with helpful legal advice on how to raise funds from international investors.
Stuart Paap from PitchDNA supported the Venture Leaders with his expertise on improving startup pitches—for example, by humanizing the data, leveraging loss aversion, offering calibrated choices, or using social proof.
“The Venture Leaders Technology program is a unique opportunity! I’m very excited to get in touch with the Silicon Valley ecosystem and be inspired by the spirit there. It will be a very intensive week, but it will clearly push Tinamu to the next growth level,” said Tobias Nägeli, Tinamu Labs co-founder and CEO. Matteo Vanotti, CEO of xFarm, added: “I’m delighted to have the opportunity to participate in the Silicon Valley roadshow. I look forward to meeting US entrepreneurs, discovering how they scaled up, and learning how they manage and work with investors during their startup experience.”
