LatticeFlow raises USD 12 million to eliminate computer vision blind spots

The ETH spinoff has announced that it raised a USD 12 million Series A funding round led by Atlantic Bridge and OpenOcean, with participation from FPV Ventures. The company helps machine learning teams improve their AI vision models by automatically diagnosing issues and improving the data and models. LatticeFlow was ranked among the TOP 100 Swiss Startups in 2021 and 2022. The company also participated in the Venture Leaders Technology 2022 roadshow in Silicon Valley.

LatticeFlow, an award-winning deep-tech startup, has created the world’s first platform for robust AI models. The company was founded in 2020 by globally leading AI researchers from ETH Zurich.

Based on the impact and strong early traction of its platform, LatticeFlow was recognized as a TOP 3 Swiss AI startup of 2021, also winning a US Army Global AI Award. Investors and experts also deemed the startup to be one of the TOP 100 Swiss Startups in 2021 and 2022. 

The company has stated that it has more than ten customers in both Europe and the U.S., including large enterprises and organizations like Siemens and the Swiss Federal Railways. The startup is currently running pilots with others.

It’s this customer demand that motivated LatticeFlow the fundraising. Existing investors btov Partners and Global Founders Capital, which led the company’s USD 2.8 million seed round last year, also participated in this round. The new investment brings LatticeFlow’s total funding to USD 14.8 million. The capital will help accelerate the development of the first scalable AI platform to diagnose and automatically fix data and model issues in computer vision, which is vital for enabling real-world model adoption.

LatticeFlow was chosen to participate in the Venture Leaders Technology 2022 program. Co-founder and CEO Petar Tsankov joined the team of innovators that went to Silicon Valley last April to profit from the unique access to experts and investors the program offers.
