Guuru Raises CHF 2.7m to Expand in Germany & the U.K.

Guuru AG, the Swiss-based software-maker that lets companies harness expert customers to answer support queries from other clients, raised 2.7 million francs to expand in Germany and the U.K.
Guuru, which ranked at the TOP 100 Swiss Startup Award last year, won new financing from investiere, the Swiss postal service, MS Direct Group, EquityPitcher and Wayra UK.
The Zurich-based company includes telecommuniations company Sky, Switzerland's national tourism agency, and iconic bag-designer Freitag, among its clients.
"The good ranking in the TOP 100 Swiss Startup Award generated a high level of positive responses from both investors and customers," Benno Marbach, chief operating officer, said in an interview.
