Swiss National Startup Team 2025: Ten high-potential Cleantech startups selected for Munich investor roadshow

19.08.2025 09:30, Rita Longobardi

Ten promising Swiss Cleantech startups have been selected to represent the 2025 Swiss National Startup Team. Chosen by a panel of investors and industry experts, the entrepreneurs will join the Venture Leaders Cleantech roadshow in Munich this November, an intensive week of investor meetings, strategic networking, and expert-led workshops. Organized by Venturelab and supported by EPFL, ETH Zurich, Helbling Technik, Rentsch Partner, the Canton of Vaud, Vischer, and the Canton of Zurich, the program is tailored to fast-track startups with global potential.

Since 2006, Venturelab has been selecting the Swiss National Startup Team. Through its Venture Leaders roadshows, entrepreneurs engage with top experts, investors, and potential customers in leading global tech hubs such as Silicon Valley, Boston, Asia, Barcelona, Munich, and London.

After reviewing almost 90 applications, a jury of investors and Cleantech experts handpicked ten startups to participate in the 2025 Venture Leaders Cleantech roadshow in Munich. The roadshow gives entrepreneurs a chance to speed up their startup's growth, build connections, and take part in pitch sessions with investors as well as workshops with industry experts.

The Venture Leaders program reflects Switzerland's expanding presence in the global cleantech scene. The ten selected startups represent the country’s strengths in fields such as Energy, Waste, and Construction.

Selecting the finalists—and ultimately the winners—was truly challenging given the outstanding quality of the applicants,” commented Jordi Montserrat, Co-Founder and Managing Partner at Venturelab. “We are set for another exciting roadshow in Munich, and I very much look forward to engaging with investors and partners.”

"Venture Leaders was a great program with great people, fun, valuable, and a real sense of community. Sharing with others facing the same challenges was extremely valuable, and the chance to connect with top investors made it even more worthwhile," commented Markus Aicheler, Co-Founder and CEO of SolidWatts and Venture Leaders Cleantech Team Captain 2024.

Join the team’s introduction and virtual pitch session on August 26th, 2025, and follow the Venture Leaders Cleantech roadshow on social media using the hashtag #VLeadersCleantech or on www.venturelab.swiss/venture-leaders-cleantech from November 17th to November 21st, 2025. The Venture Leaders Cleantech 2025 program is organized by Venturelab and supported by EPFL, ETH Zurich, Helbling Technik, Rentsch Partner, Canton of Vaud, Vischer, and Canton of Zurich.
