Swiss National Startup Team 2026: Ten Swiss tech startups selected for Silicon Valley roadshow

16.02.2026 08:45, Rita Longobardi

A panel of investor and industry experts has selected ten innovative Swiss tech startups to join the Swiss National Startup Team. These Swiss startups will participate in the Venture Leaders Technology 2026 program, an exclusive opportunity to expand their networks and business knowledge during a Silicon Valley roadshow this April. Organized by Venturelab in collaboration with DPD, EPFL, ETH Zurich, Kellerhals Carrard, Rothschild & Co, and the Canton of Vaud, the program aims to accelerate international growth.

Since 2006, Venturelab has been selecting the Swiss National Startup Team. Through its Venture Leaders roadshows, entrepreneurs engage with top experts, investors, and potential customers in leading global tech hubs, including Silicon Valley, Boston, Asia, Barcelona, London, and Munich.

After reviewing almost 200 applications, a jury of experts selected ten startups for the 2026 Venture Leaders Technology roadshow in Silicon Valley. The program provides entrepreneurs the chance to accelerate their US expansion, connect with industry leaders, and gain insights through investor pitch sessions and targeted workshops.

The Venture Leaders program highlights Switzerland’s strong presence in the global tech startup scene. The ten selected startups showcase the country’s leadership in a wide array of fields, such as advanced battery production, autonomous and drone-based mobility, AI-driven industrial and regulatory software, secure authentication, photonics, and inspection technologies.

“Swiss startups don’t need to hide on the global level. Every year, the Venture Leaders pitch to world-class investors, even in Silicon Valley. I look forward to the roadshow and supporting the team as it expands internationally,” highlights Stefan Steiner, Co-Managing Director at Venturelab. Mohsen Falahi, CEO and co-founder of DAAV and Team Captain of Venture Leaders Technology 2025 confirms this statement: “The Venture Leaders program was flawlessly executed. From pitching to VCs, to workshops on pricing, scaling, and legal strategies, every element was crafted to push us forward.”

This year's Venture Leaders Technology participants join an impressive group of alumni, including startups such as Lemoptix and Composyt Light Labs (acquired by Intel), Faceshift (acquired by Apple), HouseTrip (acquired by TripAdvisor), Kooaba (acquired by Qualcomm), Dacuda (acquired by Magic Leap), Seervision (acquired by QSC), Sevensense Robotics (acquired by ABB), the unicorns GetYourGuide and Scandit, and many more.

Join the team’s introduction and virtual pitch session on February 25th, 2026, and follow the Venture Leaders Technology roadshow on social media using the hashtag #VLeadersTech or on www.venturelab.swiss/venture-leaders-technology from April 12th to April 17th, 2026. The Venture Leaders Technology 2026 program is organized by Venturelab and supported by DPD, EPFL, ETH Zurich, Kellerhals Carrard, Rothschild & Co, and the Canton of Vaud.
