Venture Leaders Technology 2025 sets out for Silicon Valley roadshow

20.02.2025 13:00, Rita Longobardi

In early April, the ten startups selected for Venture Leaders Technology 2025 will head to Silicon Valley for a weeklong roadshow. The trip will allow them to connect with investors, industry leaders, and experts while sharpening their strategies for international expansion. To prepare, the entrepreneurs gathered in Schlieren on February 19 for an in-person kickoff and a virtual pitch event open to the public.

Chosen from over 200 applicants by a jury of investors and technology experts, this year's Venture Leaders will travel to one of the world's top tech hubs to accelerate their US market entry. The program offers direct exposure to investors, networking opportunities, and hands-on workshops designed to refine their approach to scaling internationally.

Daniel Brau (miraex), Jiir Awdir (Hoshii), Felix Bunning (viboo), Andrey Lazarev (Brightisde), Ligia Colina (Proud), Jason Corkill (Rapidata), Luzi Sennhauser (aurigin.ai), Mohsen Falahi (DAAV), and Aziz Belkhiria (DPhi Space)

At the kick-off, the entrepreneurs met in person for the first time, shared insights about their innovations, and fine-tuned their pitches for the upcoming roadshow. They also took part in a virtual pitch session, where each founder had three minutes to present their startup to an online audience. Attendees then voted for the team captain, selecting Mohsen Falahi, CEO and Co-Founder of DAAV, to take on the role.

The event also featured expert guidance from industry leaders. Robert Skrobak, CEO of Unicorn Anchor, and Massimo Soriano, Head of Venture Services at Rothschild & Co., led a workshop focused on pitching to US investors, while Tilmann Schultze, CEO of DPD Switzerland, and Nicolai Nuber, partner at Kellerhals Carrard, contributed insights throughout the day.

This year's Venture Leaders Technology is organized by Venturelab in cooperation with DPD, EPFL, ETH Zurich, Kellerhals Carrard, Rothschild & Co, Unicorn Anchor, and the Canton of Vaud.
