Nineteen commercially-minded scientists closed a busy week of business development workshops and networking in the alps, with a pitching competition sharing $50,000 of development grants in cash, supported by the Swiss and Indian governments. Winners Alfaleus Technology, Leotek Innovations, OxyPrem, and Previda persuaded the juries.

The Swiss-Indian Academia-Industry Training Camp, which aims to help scientists from Switzerland and India tranform laboratory research to market-ready products and services, sees ten startups from India and ten from Switzerland enjoy a week of training and networking in each country. The Swiss week combined business development courses and pitching at the Gotham coworking space in Lausanne, with expert workshops and startup visits in Winterthur and Zurich.
