The 10 Swiss-university researchers selected for the Academia-Industry Training Camp in India completed a busy week in Mumbai and Bangalore meeting industry experts, receiving training on scaling in new markets and strengthening their Swiss and Indian networks.
AIT supports young scientists in transforming their applied research into market applications, while discovering their entrepreneurial potential. By connecting scientists from top institutions, both in Switzerland and in India, the program helps create an international network and allows access to one of the most promising markets and intellectual capitals in applied research.

The Swiss State Secretariat for Education, Research and Innovation (SERI) and India's Department of Science and Technology (DST) mandated ZHAW Zurich University of Applied Sciences and the Society for Innovation and Entrepreneurship (SINE) IIT Bombay to execute the AIT programs in Switzerland and India respectively. Together with Venturelab and swissnex India they organize and facilitate the intense market discovery program comprising entrepreneurial workshops, industry visits and business meetings in both countries.
