Venture Leader Mobile David Gugelmann's Startup Exeon Anlaytics Detecting Cyber Threats at MWC Barcelona 2020

Key drivers to an organization’s success are its customer data, intellectual property and the ability to operate critical systems without interruption. Those fundamentals are found increasingly at risk through advanced cyber attackers, malicious insiders and supply chain attacks. Such breaches often happen hidden in millions of regular activities and remain undetected for 206 days on average. For example, 20 GB of data was stolen during a cyberattack against the Swiss defense company Ruag, which remained undetected for more than a year. ExeonTrace developed by Exeon Analytics analyzes and correlates an organization's existing IT log data. We interviewed CEO David Gugelmann about his expectations on going to present ExeonTrace's innovation in Barcelona with the Venture Leaders Mobile program and the Swiss National Startup Team.

How is Exeon Analytics changing the Mobile industry?
We want to make the mobile industry safer. In a connected and mobile world, data security is a challenge. Our security analytics software ExeonTrace detects cyber threats in the IT-Networks of larger companies before sensitive data is breached. The analytics are based on machine learning and big data algorithms.

How important is it to be in Barcelona at the MWC?
Very. The MWC is attracting decision-makers and influencers of large companies. Exactly the people we would like to speak to.


What do you hope to achieve from the Venture Leaders Mobile 2020 roadshow?
We hope to meet new clients and partners at the conference and increase the awareness of Exeon.
