Venture Leaders Deeptech - Swiss National Startup Team

Over the past 17 years, Venturelab has selected the Swiss National Startup Teams. The Venture Leaders - the members of the Swiss National Startup Team - have traveled to Silicon Valley, Barcelona, Boston, New York, Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen, and Hong Kong to dive into the exciting entrepreneurial scene of such high-level entrepreneurial hubs, helping more than 455 entrepreneurs to build their vision and achieve success. They have a clear-cut goal, envision themselves as global players and want to take the first step towards their global expansion. The investor and industry roadshows are specifically structured to help them achieve this goal.

Venture Leaders Deeptech alumni comprise high-flying startups such as Dacuda (aquired by Magic Leap), Ava, Qualysense (raised $ 14M), Cellestia Biotech (raised CHF 20M).

A UNIQUE BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM

Venture Leaders Cleantech is a unique business development program to explore international market potential for high growth Swiss startups. It is an exclusive opportunity to be a part of a top entrepreneurial teams, accelerate one's business growth and showcase Switzerland as a leading country for innovation.

Every year, 10 carefully selected high-tech entrepreneurs get a unique chance to give their technology and business a commercial boost, including:

Presentation to experts and investors per industry sector and startup visits
Knowledge workshops with experts in business development, IP, corporate affairs etc.
Hands on execution workshops focusing on the development of your company
Multiple networking events with the high-tech entrepreneurs' scene
Flexibility for personal business development activities during the whole stay

Founding and managing members of Swiss-based startups
Ready to grow their business with international investors
Building a global startup in the deeptech sectors (e.g. cleantech, engineering, new materials, etc.)

Ten startups have been chosen by a jury of investors as the Swiss National Startup Team for Venture Leaders Deeptech 2021 from a pool of over 80 applicants. The designated entrepreneurs are set to embark on an intense program of pitch sessions, investor matchmakings and workshops. They will have the unique chance to explore the Chinese market and built an exceptional business network through meetings with top-notch investors and industry leaders across the country. Proudly showcasing Switzerland as a deep tech nation: Bloom Renewables, Isochronic, Komp-Act, LEDCity, matriq, MicroR Systems, Miraex, Oxyle, Perovskia, Readily3D.
