Over the past 20 years, Venturelab has selected the Swiss National Startup Teams. The Venture Leaders - the members of the Swiss National Startup Team - have traveled to Silicon Valley, Barcelona, Boston, New York, Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen, and Hong Kong to dive into the exciting entrepreneurial scene of such high-level entrepreneurial hubs, helping more than 600 entrepreneurs to build their vision and achieve success. They have a clear-cut goal, envision themselves as global players, and want to take the first step towards their global expansion. The investor and industry roadshows are specifically structured to help them achieve this goal.

Venture Leaders Medtech alumni comprise high-flying startups such as Lunaphore Technologies (acquired by Bio-Techne), Virtamed, Credentis (acquired by vVardis), Stimit (acquired by Dräger), CUTISS, Distalmotion, MindMaze, Positrigo, Volumina Medical.

A unique investor roadshow in Boston and Cambridge

A deep dive into the US medtech startup ecosystem through an intensive program and an opportunity for personal development:

Private pitching and feedback sessions with top health investors
Public pitching and networking events with investors and industry leaders from the Boston area
Review and discussions with experts about the US market penetration, financing strategies internationalization and more
Social networking events with US startups
Support for personal business development activities during the all stay

Meet the Venture Leaders Medtech Team 2025

Ten startups have been chosen by a jury of investors as the Swiss National Startup Team for Venture Leaders Medtech 2025 from over 70 applicants. The designated entrepreneurs fly to Boston for a one-week roadshow in September/October 2025 to accelerate their expansion into the US market and build an exceptional business network through meetings with top-notch investors and industry leaders in the Boston area.
