Can you tell us who your product or solution helps, and how?
SCOOBIC is a Spanish company focused on electric, zero-emission vehicles and e-cargo bikes for urban deliveries. Their solutions aim to improve efficiency, profitability, and sustainability in urban logistics while reducing traffic, noise, and pollution. By offering compact, manoeuvrable, and high-capacity electric vehicles, SCOOBIC supports the growth of e-commerce and sustainable logistics. As cities adapt to reduce CO2 emissions, SCOOBIC’s solutions promise healthier, more efficient urban environments.

What market are you addressing and what is the potential of your startup in that market?
Urban logistics is shaped by both public and private companies. Public efforts are led primarily by national postal services, while private players include Amazon, DHL, FedEx, and UPS in logistics; Heineken in food and beverages; and Lidl, Aldi, and Carrefour in grocery.

What are your team’s key achievements to date?
We won multiple awards from 2017 to 2024, including the European SME R&D&I Project "SCOOBIC," Start Jerusalem Startup Contest, the NEOTEC Project "Mouse Truck," and Best Innovation at eDelivery 2018. Recognized by the RENAULT and MAPFRE Foundations, DHL, and the European Commission for excellence in mobility and innovation. Secured investments and accolades from EIT INNOEGERY, CAIXABANK, and VOCENTO, among others. Named one of the 30 most reputable companies by The Silicon Review in 2024.

What do you expect from Desafìa, and how will it help you achieve your vision?
Networking, investors, potential customers. We think that the program can help us to understand better how the ecosystem of start and scale-ups work and what investors, financial entities or customers are looking for or demanding and how we can get to transmit better our company value proposition.

Why Switzerland represents a great opportunity for you?
Because of the environment that this country offers and what the country represents as center of the main business and project in Europe as a traditionally neutral country where different cultures used to gather.
