Swiss National Startup Team 2026: Ten mobile startups set for 4YFN – MWC Barcelona
Swiss mobile startups ready to grow internationally. They will expand their investor network and expertise during the Venture Leaders Mobile investor and business development roadshow in Barcelona with the Swiss National Startup Team in late February to early March 2026. The Venture Leaders Mobile 2026 program is organized by Venturelab and supported by Huawei, Swisscom Ventures, and VISCHER.
Since 2006, Venturelab has selected the Swiss National Startup Team. The Venture Leader xroadshows provide a platform for determined entrepreneurs and their promising startups, offering them the opportunity to connect with top experts, investors, and potential customers in key technology hubs across the globe, such as Silicon Valley, Boston, Asia, Barcelona, Munich, and London.After reviewing over 115 applications, a jury of investors and mobile experts selected ten startups to join the 4YFN – the startup platform of the Mobile World Congress (MWC), one of the industry’s largest annual startup events in Barcelona. The roadshow provides a unique opportunity for entrepreneurs to accelerate their startups' expansion in the mobile and digital ecosystem while expanding their professional network and profiting from pitch sessions with investors and networking with industry leaders. The agenda also includes participation in the Venturelab Sailing Trophy and several pitch events designed to connect Swiss startups with relevant contacts in the mobile and digital ecosystem.
The Venture Leaders program also showcases the drive and vitality of Switzerland's mobile startup ecosystem. The ten selected startups represent Swiss top excellence across a diverse spectrum. From battery technology, space, cybersecurity, and wireless tech to autonomous driving, mobile security, wildlife monitoring, and robotics. “The new Venture Leaders Mobile team reflects the talent and ambition in Switzerland’s deep-tech sector,” said Jordi Montserrat, managing partner at Venturelab. “We look forward to seeing them build connections and take their ideas to the international stage at 4YFN and MWC.”

This year's Venture Leaders Mobile participants join an impressive group of alumni, including startups such as greenteg, Corintis, technis, ecorobotix, RealTyme, Almer Technologies (acquired by RealWear), and many more.
From February 28th to March 5th, 2026, the Swiss National Startup Team will fly to Barcelona.
